Kathy Griffin-- Whatcha Think?

Being as though we are in public discourse, I am interested in what everyone thinks. Do you think that Kathy Griffin deserves the blow she is getting for her recent image? Would you call this free speech or hate speech?

    Shelbie, I think it was interesting how they were talking about how the male figures that have done similar things are not getting any flak, yet Cathy Griffin is. Interesting commentary on our society. Thanks for posting!

    The action was entirely out of line but what I had the problem with was the fact that she stated she "wasn't afraid to make noise" yet when she received flak, she crumbled and didn't support herself and her message. Which to me says she was doing it for attention and not to deliver a message like her 'fans' are trying to defend.
